Privacy Policy

Shellby is an app by Tadoris LLC ("we"), a Wyoming limited liability company. It is built to keep your data on your iPhone. This page explains what the app does and does not do with it.

The short version

• No account. You never sign up or log in.
• No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Shellby has no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
• Your health data stays with you. Doses, weight, check-ins, meals and photos are stored on your iPhone, and in your own private iCloud if you have iCloud turned on. We run no server that stores them.
• Apple Health data never leaves your iPhone.

What Shellby stores

Everything you enter is stored locally in the app: medications and doses, injection sites, weight, daily check-ins, food entries, progress photos, and settings. If iCloud is available, Apple syncs this data through your private iCloud database so it follows you between your devices. We cannot see it.

Apple Health

If you allow it, Shellby reads weight, steps and workouts to show your progress, and can save weight, protein and water to Apple Health. This data is used only inside the app on your iPhone. It is never sent to our server, to Google, or to anyone else, and it is never used for advertising.

AI food photos

When you choose to analyze a meal photo, and only after you give consent:

• The photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our lightweight server, which forwards it to Google Gemini to estimate nutrition.
• The photo is not stored by Shellby. Our server keeps no copy and logs only technical details such as time and status, not image content.
• Google processes the photo under its own API terms.
• Apple Health data is never included.

You can turn AI photo consent off at any time in Settings. You can always log food by search, barcode or quick add instead.

Other services

• RevenueCat handles Shellby Pro purchases using an anonymous identifier. It receives purchase and subscription status, not your health data.
• Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central receive the barcode or search text you enter when looking up a food.
• Apple processes payments, iCloud sync and notifications.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent from a server.

Your control

• Export your data as CSV at any time in Settings.
• Delete all data in Settings removes everything Shellby holds on this iPhone and in your iCloud copy. Apple Health data and purchases are not affected.
• Deleting the app removes local data. Turn off iCloud for Shellby in iOS Settings to stop syncing.

Children

Shellby is not intended for people under 17.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear in the app and on our website with a new date.
